Abstract
This research aimed to identify the role of manufacturing flexibility in enhancing the rapid response manufacturing system at the General Company for Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Supplies/Samarra. This was achieved by measuring the level of application of manufacturing flexibility dimensions and clarifying the nature of the relationship and impact between them and the rapid response manufacturing system. To achieve the research objectives, a descriptive-analytical approach was adopted. Data was collected using a questionnaire distributed to a sample of (37) administrative employees at the company. The data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical software, relying on descriptive statistical methods and correlation and regression analyses. The results showed a strong, statistically significant positive correlation between manufacturing flexibility and the rapid response manufacturing system, with a correlation coefficient of (r = 0.860) and a coefficient of determination (R² = 0.739). This indicates that manufacturing flexibility explains (73.9%) of the variance in the rapid response manufacturing system. In light of these results, the research recommends the necessity of enhancing the application of manufacturing flexibility dimensions and developing organizational and production capabilities to contribute to increasing the efficiency of the rapid response manufacturing system and strengthening the company's ability to respond to market demands
