Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript is only submitted using the online electronic submission system on the journal's website.For the new users ,they must first register and then login to make submission
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format and must be named with the paper title, “Paper title.doc”
  • The submission must be belong to one of the Journal scopes
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Instructions for Authors

  1. The manuscript is subject to Turnitin plagiarism detection software before sending to reviewers. Manuscripts should not have plagiarized contents or their Turnitin check report not exceeds 20%
  2. The manuscript must be formatted according to Journal template
  3. The manuscript should not exceed 25 pages including all text, references, appendices, tables, and figures
  4. The author must answer all  the reviewers' comments and send the revised version within a maximum period of one month
  5. The manuscript is only submitted using the online electronic submission system on the journal's website.For the author who Interested in publishing in  this journal ,Authors need to  follow the following steps :

 

We recommend that you review the User Guide for registeration on the journal's website and submitting the paper.

Writing References

  1. References are written using APA style format
  2. 50 % of references are recent and are within the last five years.
  3. If possible, manuscript cite 2-3 published papers  by Journal of Baghdad College of Economic Sciences University

 

Manuscript Template

  • An Abstract should be provided in Arabic and English about (200 to 300) words.
  • Paper size: A4, the margins should be 2 cm Top, 2 cm Bottom, 2 cm (Right and Lift).
  • The Page layout should be one column.
  • Font type: Times New Roman for English papers and simplified Arabic for Arabic papers
  • Font size
  1.  Main Title: size 16 , bold, centered.
  2. Authors’ Names: size14, bold
  3. Authors' affiliations and E-mail : size 12
  4. The manuscript's subtitles such as (abstract, introduction, material, methods of work, results and discussion): size12, bold.
  5. Manuscript text: size 12.
  • The keywords are written in Arabic and English under the Abstract (4-6) keywords.
  • The full word "Figure" is used as a heading under the shape. Figures should be numbered sequentially through the text Figure 1, and should be referenced in the text as figure 1.
  • The full word "Table" is used as a heading above the table. Table should be numbered sequentially through the text Table 1, and should be referenced in the text as (Table 1).
  • Tables and shapes are placed in the results in the sequence mentioned, not at the end of the manuscript.
  • All numbers are written in the Arabic numerals system (e.g., 1, 2, 3, …. )
